After much thought, prayer, and discussion, I have decided to withdraw from the race for Congress.  We have made many new friends and talked to hundreds of people who want new representation and a different direction for our Federal Government.  Even though I have received a lot of encouragement, the reality of the required funding and level of organized support required to be elected has made it clear that I would not be able to do well.  The experience gained will help me do a better job as chairman of the Suwannee County Republican Executive Committee as we recruit and support candidates and speak out for conservative values.

We will continue to work for our country to be a strong, free, Godly nation.  We will also work with others to realize; in our lifetime, a smaller federal government, lower taxes, and our nation fueled by a market-based economy.

Susan and I would like to thank all of our friends and supporters.  We hope you will join us in continuing to work for the return and upholding of our forefather’s vision for these United States of America.
